Artist's Statement : This quilt is based on a Japanese poem "Oboro tsukiyo" (The Moon in Mist). I tried to express a misty Spring day and also rape blossoms in twilight.

Technique : machine pieced, hand quilted

Material : cotton, silk, new cotton, silk (hand-dyed), cotton (hand-dyed), lace, beads
