Artist's Statement : My friend gave me a mosquito net, which I wanted to use some day.  I saw the sky with many stars.  I made a wish on a shooting star although I never actually saw one.  I designed this quilt with a wish that I could see them one day.

Technique : Machine piecing, Hand piecing, Hand applique, Hand quilting

Material : Cotton, old cloth (kasuri, striped pattern, pattern-dyed), mosquito net
