Artist's Statement : The globe shape looks like a lantern or a lampshade made from rattan, in sharp contrast with the colors around it.  Every piece is a different size so the globe shape and the patterns around it are dynamic.

Technique : Machine Piecing, Hand Piecing, Hand Quilting
