Artist's Statement : I imagined an unknown world deep inside a long spiral, which I created by perspective.  I made curves from short straight lines, and used alternating blue and beige curved diamonds, along with eight converging lines toward the center.

Technique : Machine Piecing, Hand Piecing, Hand Quilting

Material : Cotton, Kimono (silk, cotton), Sashiko thread
