Artist's Statement : This is quite far from the theme 'Islamic Patterns'.  It is based more on my own theme 'Illusion', suggesting the domed ceiling in a mosque.  I found it difficult to design the illusion of curves, using  straight lines and color gradations.

Technique : Machine piecing, Hand piecing, Hand quilting
