Artist's Statement : The design theme of work is to show depth and shading. The shape of folding screen was the starting point. The curves of the double wedding ring pattern were hand-drawn, and each piece of paper pattern is different. It was challenging to express the image in my head as an actual work of art.

Technique : Machine piecing, Hand piecing, Hand applique, Hand quilting

Material : Kimono (cotton, silk), cotton
