Artist's Statement : If you connect Kentucky Chain patterns, it may look like an ascending spiral.  I designed this spiral to flow upwards.  I used many different fabrics to make a palette of many colors.

Technique : Machine piecing, Hand quilting

Material : Cotton, silk, hand-dyed cotton
