Artist's Statement : I had bought these fabrics more than twenty years ago.  It was a pity to put them away in drawers.  I needed courage to cut them, but I quilted them and made the final shape.

Technique : Machine Piecing, Hand Quilting

Material : Antique cotton (aizome), Silk kimono (ooshimatsumugi)
