Artist's Statement : I was on the Shinkansen near Kobe when I found out that my mother had drawn her last breath.  I feel the wind blowing between buildings.  Recently as I am getting old I feel that I am resembling my mother.

Technique : Machine piecing, Hand applique, Hand quilting
