Artist's Statement : This is a medium height native Japanese deciduous tree.  I like the beauty of its white flowers.  Recently it has red flowers also.  In Autumn red ripening seeds and red leaves create a rustic feeling.

Technique : Machine Piecing, Hand Applique, Hand Quilting

Material : Cotton, Kimono(silk), Synthetic fabric
