Artist's Statement : I used old fabrics, and also silk and wool which I knitted myself.  I made it to appreciate my friends of many years.  This quilt has many hands representing the beautiful and warm hands of those friends.  Well...which one is Emiko Sensei's hand?

Technique : Machine Piecing, Hand Piecing, Hand Applique, Hand Quilting, Embroidery (French knot stitch)

Material : Cotton, Kimono (silk, cotton, wool), Hand-dyed cotton, Synthetic fabric,Hand-dyed cotton, Yarn (wool)
