Artist's Statement : Wave side - When I heard about the overlap theme, I came up with the idea of a stone covered by a wave. The wave reminds me of Hokusai !!
Folded paper crane side - I had wanted to make a folded paper crane design. I made an overlap of crane and tortoise (a congratulatory symbol).

Technique : Machine Piecing, Hand Piecing
