Artist's Statement : When I hear about a tornado, I think about Dorothy being carried away to the land of Oz.  I used to think tornados happened only in America, but now we also have them in Japan.  I want to prevent them from happening because of global warming.

Technique : Machine Piecing, Hand Applique, Machine Quilting

Material : Cotton, Hand-dyed cotton, Hand-dyed satin
