Artist's Statement : "Tabane Noshi" formed the basis for this quilt.  It has been one of my favorite traditional Japanese patterns since I was young.  This pattern is a good omen, suggesting kindness, bonds, and a long life.

Technique : Machine Piecing, Hand Applique, Hand Quilting, Machine Quilting
