Artist's Statement : Since finishing my previous Kentucky Chain quilt,  I had accumulated much more fabric,  so the X and O had much more variety, and they contrasted with the shadow-like grey.  For the first time in many years I used hand quilting.  Happily it worked better than I had expected.

Technique : Machine Piecing, Machine Quilting
