Artist's Statement : About forty years ago I looked through a gingko tree with very few leaves left, and saw a  somewhat blue half- moon against a blue sky.  I worked hard to depict that gingko tree in a Kentucky Chain pattern.

Technique : Machine piecing, Hand quilting, Hand applique, Dyeing

Material : Cotton, Polyester fabric
