Artist's Statement : My husband made his way to heaven in Spring of 2013. I had been wanting to create a quilt to commemorate the beautiful garden he saw out of his window when I met Emiko Toda Loeb. She helped me design the image I held of the scenery which was to be his last. This is my first attempt at a silk quilt because I wanted to use kimonos that were meaningful to me from my husband, my family members and friends.

Technique : Machine Piecing, Hand Applique, Hand Quilting
